A 60-second decision tree for choosing among Hard Closer, Storyteller, Educator, and Consultant.
The first decision: are these leads hot or cold? Hot leads (inbound site enquiries, recent brochure downloads, pricing-page visitors) want facts and a close ask in the same conversation. Cold leads (rented databases, top-of-funnel webinar attendees, generic Meta ads) need education first, soft CTA second.
Second decision: how complex is the product? Single SKU with one main price point — Hard Closer or Educator. Multi-SKU with real choice (loan products, insurance plans, plot sizes) — Consultant. Emotional life-decision (school, home, healthcare) — Storyteller.
Most teams pick well on the first try. The wrong template will be obvious in the first 50 calls — agent ending too fast, leads complaining about pressure, or the conversation drifting because the structure is missing. Switch templates if needed; takes one click.
